Telemundo is partnering with Dr. Pepper for a multiplatform celebration of the U.S. television networks talent in a project called Los Unicos (meaning theyre all unique).The partnership offers an intimate look into the personal and professional lives of three great telenovela stars, plus other anecdotes that show them to be truly one-of-a-kind. “With its unique blend of 23 flavors, Dr Pepper has always been one of a kind, and having this unprecedented access to the unique lives of Telemundo’s brightest stars is an authentic, original way to reach Hispanic audiences,” said Olivia Vela, Hispanic brand marketing director at Dr. Pepper. Los Unicos Litzy, one of Mexicos most beloved TV and music stars; Carmen Villalobos, telenovela actress who will star in the second season of El Señor de los Cielos; and finally, Eugenio Siller, talent from the original new Telemundo production, Reina de Corazones.”We are excited to team up with Dr Pepper to celebrate Telemundo’s most beloved stars and create a unique experience for our novela fans,” said Mike Rosen, executive VP of advertising sales and integrated marketing at Telemundo Media.The multiplatform campaign also includes a 2014 Dr. Pepper/Telemundo calendar featuring 12 Telemundo superstars. The advertising material will be gifted to customers who buy Dr. Pepper products.
